A 3-day Kidepo National Park tour in Uganda offers you the opportunity to explore Uganda’s remotest national park. Itinerary

Day 1 - Drive from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park
Get up early in the morning and have breakfast in your respective hotel. After, you head to Kidepo Valley National Park, northeastern Uganda through Kitgum to Moroto route. Upon arrival, you will check in at Apoka Safari Lodge (luxury), Kidepo Savanna Lodge (mid range) or Apoka Rest Camp (Budget) for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - Morning game drive and cultural encounters in the evening
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast and then embark on early morning game drive to look out for the wonderful savanna wildlife species that make this park one of the spectacular safari destinations in Uganda. Kidepo Valley National Park is credited with over 86 species of mammals and it is the 3rd largest park after Queen Elizabeth National Park. While on a game drive at this park, you will have opportunity to spot out wildlife species like dik-dik, klipspringer, greater and lesser kudus, aardwolf, striped hyenas, reedbuck, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, elephants, side-striped jackals and variety of bird species.

After drive back to your respective lodge for lunch and when you are done with lunch, embark on the cultural walk where you will get a chance to interact with Karamojong at the Kapedo and Karema. Also don’t miss to pay a visit to the magnificent Manyattas, the kraals and many others. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay at Apoka Safari Lodge (luxury), Kidepo Savanna Lodge (mid range) or Apoka Rest Camp (Budget).
Day 3 - Drive back to Kampala
Have breakfast early in the morning and after, set off to Kampala for about 12 hours’ drive and this will mark the end of your three-day safari in Kidepo Valley National Park.
